The game changer for me. This was the first thing I bought when I started seeing the dark area on my face. I decided to use it protect what was left of my face. I took this step as a preventive measure to stop the sun from causing more damage while I found a way to fix it.

Water based toner makes the outer layer of skin more hydrated, which increases its receptiveness to other skincare products.
It revitalises and clean skin, giving it a refreshed feeling. Not to forget calming. If using Aloe and chamomile, they help to calm and soothe the skin. Lastly, after cleaning your make up, toners carefully remove any leftover debris, oil, or makeup.

Avoid over exfoliating your skin
There are downsides when it comes to exfoliating your skin. Here are a few things to note when it comes to over exfoliating. If your skin becomes sensitive, red, or begins to peel. It can also cause small, rough, bumpy pimples to emerge
The sensitivity of the skin increases as a result of using additional products in your skincare routine which may cause the skin to become more sensitive. Give your skin a break from exfoliating so it can heal. Let it heal and return to its natural state. Remember that when it comes to skincare, little could go a long way!
Pay attention to the dark area
This doesn’t mean you should leave unaffected areas. All it means is you want to target the affected area. For example. If I apply one coat for serum to the unaffected areas, I double coat the target area. Turmeric – mix a teaspoon of turmeric powder with water to form a paste. Apply it as a face mask for 10-15 minutes or till dry, then rinse gently with lukewarm water. This natural anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant, reduces skin inflammation and prevents free radical damage. It contains curcumin, which lightens dark spots, minimizes melanin production, and evens out skin tone.
Honey – apply the raw honey to your skin and leave it on for 10-15 minutes before rinsing off. This natural humectant has various benefits. It hydrates, softens, and soothes the skin.
